Like many of you, my week days are super busy – mornings are filled with deadlines and piles of paperwork, afternoons are dedicated to my son’s homework and sports practices, then evenings are for everything else that needs to get done. By the time the Friday night gets here, I’m worn out and neither my husband or I really want to put a lot of effort into cooking, but we still want a good, nourishing and healthy meal.
I love browsing through my Facebook pages, Instagram friends and Twitter feeds for new & exciting recipes to try. I found this great Pasta with Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage & Peas recipe from my friends at Good Thyme Kitchen.
This recipes is only 4 ingredients. All you need, a package of sweet Italian chicken sausage, a jar of marinara sauce (we use organic, non-GMO marinara sauce or make your own ), a bag of frozen peas and pasta of your choice – we use gluten free pasta in our house. How easy is that!? Here is the link to the recipe and below is a picture off their website! Looks delish! RECIPE
I’m going to pair this dish with a nice glass of Menage a Trois Malbec and call it a night. For some great information on great wines under $20.00, go check out Reverse Wine Snob. Lots of great in-depth reviews and suggestions on every wine imaginable.
See, it’s easy, and fairly inexpensive, to make quick, healthy and delicious meals!
